The Digital Media Club gives students an opportunity to explore a variety of digital media including photography, video production and editing, green screen effects, music composition, podcasting, coding/computer programming, electronic circuitry, robotics, and more. Students work on several projects over the course of the year including weekly newscasts, radio broadcasts, special event videos, curriculum projects, interviews, digital photography, and much more.
In addition to our after school meetings once a week, students are welcome to sign up to use the digital media lab during their lunch periods and study halls. They learn to use a variety of equipment including digital video cameras, wireless microphones, green screen, etc. They also use software including iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Garage Band, and more.
Work in the digital media lab exposes students to a variety of real world skills including audio and video editing, public speaking, interviewing, storyboarding, scripting, and much more. Check out the Projects page to see what our students have created!
